Women in Sports Media Tell How to Get in the Game

Communication students connect with local experts in the field

The Sports Communication & Media program in the School of Communication & Media Arts hosted “Getting in the Game,” a symposium on women in sports media, on April 23. The day included panel discussions that covered topics such as what goes on behind the camera, on-air experience and marketing in the industry. Jemele Hill of ESPN was the keynote speaker.
