Anthony Scaramucci, founder and co-managing partner of SkyBridge Capital investment firm, will be honored at Sacred Heart University’s 27th Annual Discovery Gala, a fundraiser for student scholarships.
The event, which is SHU’s major fundraiser, will take place Saturday, April 23, and will include a special performance by Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Bruce Hornsby.
Scaramucci, who hosts Wall Street Week — an investment news show — also is an author and philanthropist.
The gala will begin with southern delicacies, spirits and entertainment at 5:30 p.m. on campus at the Linda E. McMahon Commons, which will be transformed for the chic soirée. Festivities will continue at the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts, where Hornsby, best known for such ’80s hits as “The Way It Is” and “Mandolin Rain,” will tickle the ivories in an exciting solo performance.
Exclusive sponsor opportunities and individual gala tickets are available. For more information, contact Anne Whitman at 203-365-4861 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit www.sacredheart.edu/discoverygala for event registration.
