Alumna will seek to make data use more strategic and to track learning, demographic and program data

Maria Wofford ’89 of Bridgeport has been named director of analytics and business intelligence at Sacred Heart University’s Jack Welch College of Business

In this newly created position, she will focus on using data to support the College’s business decisions and strategy, providing accurate and timely data for accreditation reports and leading the design of new analytic projects to drive student recruitment and retention.

Wofford joins her alma mater from GE Capital in Norwalk, where she was a member of the enterprise data management team for risk reporting and data governance.
